Matrot is one of Meursault’s most recognizable names and Thierry, now along with his daughters Adele and Elsa, continue to be standard bearers for wines from this village. A Meursault purist when it comes to the diverse terroir of the village, this family doesn’t like their wines hopped up on a bunch of new oak, hence 1-to-5 year barrels are utilized.

Sexy aromas of creamy hazelnut, cereal, honeyed pear and spice. Rich upon entry with classic Matrot polish and definition. Expansive, this full-flavored wine shows excellent cut and balance which carry over into the searing, minerally and pure finish.

Naturally spritzy and at low (under 11.5%) alcohol, Ameztoi's Getaraiko Txakolina is a visceral white wine experience. Resoundingly fresh and shimmering, detailed and precise with perfumed crushed stone, seashore and lime-blossom scents that follow into a pleasing, bracing, vibrant, fiercely dry and elevated mouth-feel.
