Drop by to taste four delectable wines from around the world including the new release of Cameron's Dundee Hills Pinot Noir which will be poured until it sells out
If there ever is a Dolcetto that can achieve rock-god-superstar status, it is this one. Along with Marcarini's Doschis di Berri and Pecchenino's Siri D'Jermu, this wine goes to places (and beyond) that no Dolcetto does or probably ever should. Truly one of the highlights of Piedmont wines that aren’t Barolo or Barbaresco, this old vine Dolcetto from ultra-low yielding vines from 2 very special Barolo vineyards is nothing but the truth!!
Grand Cru Dolcetto, the Vajra family refers to this wine as their prima donna! Ethereal, complex and red fruit dominated with Barolo-village area delicacy and complexity. Loads of suede-like coverage in the mouth, this palate-staining Dolcetto delivers plenty of flavor and character from exuberant start to stopwatch-busting, long finish. Aldo Vajra feels that this Dolcetto will have no problem aging for up to a decade, but let's face it, this is too irresistible now. Have it with anything that you might serve with Barolo. Try a risotto jacked with some morels.

71% Mourvedre along with 3% Clairette that are directly pressed and augmented by 14% Grenache and 12% Cinsault that have been macerated for 24 hours, Bastide Blanche's 2015 Bandol Rose once again proves to the Bandol champion. Once again, we are able to sell it for 20 bucks, unlike Tempier's Rose, which is regularly hitting the 40-buck mark and this thrills us to no end. Louis & Michel (Lou and Mike) Bronzo bought La Bastide Blanche in the 70s and in the last 30+ years, they have brought their Domaine into prominence and has become one of the pre-eminent producers of Bandol Rouge and Rose.
The 2015 is a killer! Heaps of peach, mandarin, rosemary and strawberry fold over into a texture that is mouth coating and fleshy, yet brisk. Gonzo complexity, richness and depth seemingly glimmers on the long, long finish that has oceanic minerality to go along with the fruit. More than just a porch wine, this is wonderful with an array of dishes. Wash down this dry pink tsunami with grilled salmon, mussels cooked in a saffron-spiked garlic broth or in an herbed-up red sauce and of course some good roasted or fried potatoes and crusty baguette…do it up! ALSO, one doesn't have to just drink Rose for summer, this rosé is substantial and complex enough for fall, winter, spring-time and even into 2018! MAGNUMS AVAILABLE!! - $46.99

Forget your fears about great Riesling, especially when it comes to this FULLY DRY version from one of the great producers of the Ruwer region in Germany. A real blazer with fierceness and elegance at the same time, dry wine lovers really owe it to themselves to try some.
The piercing chalkboard, rock dust, lime blossom and tart apple flavors quickly clue you in on the fact that this Riesling is a pure expression of where it is grown. Slate-driven, mineral and rocky aromas dominate the dry, clean and DRY palate and finish with laser-like clarity and incredible depth of flavor. This is a stellar pairing with fresh oysters, prawns, richer salmon and seared scallop dishes. Grunhaus is one of Germany’s most prolific producers on all levels and this dry Riesling has been a Cellar Door favorite for years. We can’t wait for you to taste it today!

New release of 2014 Dundee Hills Pinot Noir from Cameron Winery's John Paul. It’s almost sold out but we’ll taste it today until it’s gone!!
Made from declassified lots of high-class fine fruit being both Abbey Ridge & Clos Electrique and at 12.5% alcohol, this Pinot Noir is fashioned after John's influences in Burgundy. Intense but never heavy, exquisite aromatics of lavender, piercing strawberry and cassis with undercurrents of red earth, licorice and smoke. Smoothly textured, but with lots of material and complexity spreading itself throughout the palate. Draws itself outward on the finish that is high-toned and really wakes up the senses, especially with some superior persistence. This Pinot is very tasty right now, but do decant it and have it with some fresh morels or in the fall, chanterelles. Drink through 2024….A super deal and as usual, one that will go quickly.
